FAYETTEVILLE, NC (July 26, 2011) –The Mind OVER Matter Youth Development Instituteis sponsoring the Back-to-School Teen Explosion Conference© on July 29, 2011 at the Hotel Bordeaux & Conference Center, 9:00am-3:00pm.  The purpose of the Conference is to provide an annual end of summer event that encourages teenagers to plan for a successful school year and apply themselves at the highest level upon going back to school.

 Teens who attend the Back-to-School Teen Explosion Conference© will participate in a wide variety of activities:

Briana Williams, a local teen of Fayetteville will serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies.  Briana is a rising junior who will attend E.E Smith High during the 2011-2012 academic year.  Briana is a well-rounded student who has served on the Student Government Association (SGA) and is a member of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).  In addition to her leadership capabilities, Briana serves as a GEAR UP Ambassador where she is committed to civic engagement by volunteering in the local community.  In 2009, Brianna served on the editorial team for a Microsoft project for the development website that promotes cyber bullying prevention (http://letmeknow.girlscouts.org/Home.aspx).
